Special programs offered by Bulgarian Spa hotels are endless: mineral saunas, inhalations, algae treatments, therapeutic mud and sand treatments. Modern Spa complexes, with their luxurious equipment, top class service and variety of renewal treatments are one of the most actively developing investment practices in tourism.
There are about 1600 mineral springs in the country. Usually the water is delicately mineralized with different content of microelements, temperature and healing properties. The most famous official health resorts are Momin Prohod, Hisaria, Bankia, Velingrad and Sandanski.
