How to get to Bulgaria

Airports in Bulgaria:
Bulgaria has three international airports: in Sofia, Varna and Burgas. International and local airlines offer flights to all important European countries and cities.
- Sofia – the main airport; offers convenient flights to mountain resorts and regular flights to Bourgas and Varna
- Varna and Bourgas – two airports on the Black Sea coast; offer year-round flights to the Northern and Southern Coast.
We recommend the route through Slovakia, Hungary and Serbia.

Many coach travel companies offer direct travels to Bulgaria, e.g. Touring Bulgaria or Group – to Sofia, Varna, and Burgas. There are highways and freeways from Sofia to the Black Sea coast.
There are direct connections from Krakow to Varna [in the summer], and through Budapest. Time of travel: about 32 hours.
